Since Halloween time has always been a popular time for the subject of the paranormal, I thought I would mention something of interest to those who are paranormal enthusiasts.  In January of 2008, the Haunted Mortuary will premier the first Interactive Paranormal Observatory, Lab, and Museum.  You’ll find the Haunted Mortuary located in New Orleans, situated at the end of the historic Canal Street Car cemetery line.

If you happen to be in or around Eastern Pennsylvania, you may have heard of the Eastern Pennsylvania Paranormal Society.  The group is made up of informal ghost hunters, always looking for ghost stories.  The group is hoping to learn of new stories so that they can create candle lit ghost tours, just in time for Halloween.  Some may be surprised at how many people take interest in ghost stories/ghost tours.  Read more about the group at the link I have provided below.  If you even have the slight interest in the paranormal, their site is sure to keep you entertained.

A new event for Halloween will be taking place at King’s Island, promising to be bigger, better, and more scarier than events in the past.  The theme park, situated in Mason Ohio (30 min from Cincinnati) is gearing up to frighten everyone who attends their spooky event.  One of the more notable changes is the extended hours for Halloween Haunt visitors.  You’ll find the gates open from 7pm to 1am on Friday and Saturday nights during September 28th through October 28th.  Not only can you experience some of the best thrill rides in Midwest, but you can freak out in the Fear Zones, Mazes, and other scary attractions Halloween Haunt has to offer.

Halloween Horror Nights is one of the most popular Halloween happenings in the USA.  The event, which began 17 years ago, has grown to become a favorite of many.  It all takes place at the Universal Theme parks in Hollywood and Orlando.  This year will bring a whole new level of horror, featuring themes from the classic horror films “Friday the 13th,”A Nightmare on Elm Street” and “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre“.  You’ll find Freddy Krueger, Leatherface, and Jason throughout the theme park, waiting to scare you when you least suspect it.
